Carolinas Association of Provider Services (CAPS)
Mission Statement

At CAPS, we are dedicated to transforming healthcare access by advancing education, conducting professional networking with other professional provider recruiters, and seeking innovative ways to elevate the standards of the physician and provider recruitment industry.

Our Objectives

The Carolinas Association of Provider Services held its first official meeting in April, 1994 in Lumberton, NC, with 23 hospital representatives present. From this meeting, CAPS was formed and objectives were established.

These include…

  • To bring together persons engaged or interested in hospital and practice provider services in North Carolina , South Carolina, Coastal Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Southern Virginia
  • Enhance technical proficiency and ethical awareness within the provider recruitment profession through ongoing education and training initiatives, fostering a deeper understanding of industry scope and ethics, and promoting continuous professional development for provider services personnel.
  • Serve as a premier resource hub, extending support and guidance to both members and non-members across our communities, advocating for the invaluable role of provider recruitment services in hospital management, and raising awareness about their significance in ensuring quality healthcare delivery.
  • Spearhead the advancement of provider services departments and programs within our communities, championing their growth and efficacy through strategic initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and innovative approaches to recruitment and retention.
  • Acknowledge and embrace the pivotal role of effective provider service practices in garnering widespread recognition and support among diverse stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaboration among our members and broader constituencies.
